Description
Create and Chill is a curated, hands-on art and craft workshop designed to engage both artists and non-artists in making items that are mostly functional. It is a low-barrier invitation for people of all skills to test their creativity and use artistic skills for social engagement, personal wellness and relaxation, community development and networking. Participants are engaged in guided sessions with experienced art facilitators who will lead demonstrations and be allowed to work on their items incorporating their own creativity. It features conversations on life skills, entrepreneurship, and emerging world issues; whilst maintaining a focus on hands-on creation.
This is a workshop on fabric crafts and art, transforming them to frames, accessories and mini-pouches. These will be made from scraps teaching you to upcycle.
Past workshops include: DIY tote bags, upcycling everyday items into decor (disks, wine bottles, and yarn), paper flowers, scrap fabric accessories, affirmation jars, collage and sneaker painting.
